What product can be created using PIC16F877A?
1. LED light.
The simplest product that can be created using PIC16F877A is a series of LED. Let say 1000 LEDs that consist of various different colour. LED colour available are red, yellow, green, blue and orange. This LED light will turn ON and OFF periodically and show a very nice light at night. This will create a joyful situation such celebrating new year, birthday party, wedding night and so on.
2. Traffic Light
1 set of traffic light consist of red, orange and green colour light. For a traffic junction, 4 set of traffic light is needed. For a smooth traffic operation 1 set of the traffic light should be green colour and the other 3 set should be red colour. PIC16F877A can easily be programmed to perform this task. All 12 light can be controll together with the timing required.
3. Happy birthday sound for a gift.
A small speaker can be connected to PIC16F877A to produce a Happy Birthday sound. In the CCS C Compiler the code for this song has already available and can be used.
4. Real Time Clock
Connect PIC16F877A to Dallas real time clock IC DS1337. Connect LCD and the clock time and date will be displayed on the LCD.
5. Auto SMS to Mobile Phone
Connect PIC16F877A to GSM Modem through rs232 cable. Write application program that will monitor temperature or water level detector. Once certain temperature or water level has been reaced PIC16F877A will instruct the GSM Modem to send SMS automatically to your mobile phone.
