Insertion Loss Testing

Insertion loss test can be performed on cable and connector such as N-type, BNC and SMA using signal generator and spectrum analyzer.

The result of the test from the spectrum analyzer is normally in dB. The result in dB will show how much of the signal power transmitted from the signal generator is loss after passing through the cable or connector.
